Denise Ho hopes her number's up

One good thing about being a celebrity is the goodies you get. Some aim for expensive gifts, while others, like singer Denise Ho Wan-sze, have other desires.

Ho was involved in a promotion for a mobile phone network yesterday and said she was not sure what goodies she would get - but she would like a free mobile account. 'I'm satisfied very easily, so a number is enough,' she told CitySeen. 'But don't give me the lucky ones because those are the numbers people usually play with. I'm broke every month when I have to pay for my text messages. The monthly bill often hits $1,000 for SMS alone.'

She said she often sent silly messages about interesting things she saw. 'So a free mobile phone account would be good enough,' she said.

But CitySeen wondered whether she was like her counterparts in other parts of the world who like sending erotic messages (and sometimes being caught out by the media)?

'Of course,' she joked.
