Are they or aren't they? Rumours of the marriage of pop diva Faye Wong and mainland actor Li Apeng regularly appear in the papers. It's a question being asked by everyone, even Li's mother.
Li, in a recent interview on Phoenix TV, confirmed he and Wong had not married yet, despite a rumour that wedding bells would be ringing last Sunday.
The rumour was so big that even Li's own mother was in doubt.
'Last week my mother came to dinner with us and she acted so strange. When I walked her out she was stammering,' he recalled.
'She touched my shoulder and asked, 'Son, are you really getting married?' I didn't know whether to laugh or cry because it made me feel that the power of the media is so great that it made a mother not trust her son.'
Hmm. But CitySeen has to wonder again, are they or aren't they?
