Fiona Sit Hoi-kei was a part-time model studying creative media at City University of Hong Kong when musical talent scouts spotted her in a TV commercial for a credit card.

After signing her in May 2003, Warner Records swiftly plastered her picture all over town - a peculiar move  as she had yet to record a single note.

Sit rose to fame after releasing her debut single, Keanu Reeves' Reply Letter,  about a girl who wrote fan letters to Reeves  daily for 10 years before he wrote back.
