Now you can do more with Adobe PDFs

The new and improved version of Adobe Systems' Acrobat desktop software goes far beyond converting documents into the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

Acrobat 7.0 Professional can manage a range of essential business activities, such as assembling documents from multiple sources, creating intelligent forms and allowing more secure collaboration on projects.

Unlike its standard version, Acrobat 7.0 Professional provides more control over engineering and design documents for technical and creative workgroups using computer-aided design and publishing applications.

It can also include virtually anyone in an electronic review of a PDF document by enabling access to commenting tools in the free Adobe Reader 7.0 software, which can be downloaded at www.adobe.com/products/ acrobat/readstep2.html.

Acrobat Reader users can also have Yahoo! Search capabilities and can interact with 3-D objects placed in PDF. Adobe has distributed more than 500 million copies of Adobe Reader since its introduction in 1993. Integration of Acrobat with Microsoft Office and Visio has also been extended. With Outlook, an Acrobat user can convert e-mails and folders of messages to a single PDF document. Users can embed data from Visio application components into PDF and convert sections of webpages from Internet Explorer.

Acrobat 7.0 Professional is integrated with Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server.
