Director George Lucas has answered the faithful with the last instalment of the Star Wars series - he has breathed life into a tale that had looked to have lost its lustre after the disappointments that were Episodes I and II.

And while the film will have its critics - the dialogue often borders on the absurd and the acting can be wooden - he feeds the child in us all. For summer entertainment, look no further.

The film is at its best when the mood turns nasty, and the battles are edge-of-your-seat spectacular.
