Designed for small businesses with a mobile workforce, the new Dell Latitude D510 notebook computer should stand up to most operating conditions. Dell's Tri-Metal chassis helps ensure the D510 can withstand the rigours of mobility. The sealed, stiffened keyboard defends against dust and spills, while the Strike Zone shock absorber helps protect the hard drive. Priced at $5,866, the Latitude D510 measures a compact 35.5x338.3x273mm and weighs about 2.36kg. It can be configured with an Intel Pentium M processor or a Celeron M processor. Customers can also configure the D510 with either a 14.1-inch or 15-inch display. There is a choice of 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g wireless networking systems.
