NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will show off his famous 'Sky Hook' at Sheung Wan's Western Market today.

When he left the game in 1989 aged 42, no NBA player had ever scored more points, blocked more shots, won more Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, played in more All-Star Games or logged more seasons.

His list of personal and team accomplishments includes: Rookie of the Year, member of six NBA championship teams, six-time NBA MVP, two-time NBA Finals MVP, 19-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, and a member of the NBA's 35th and 50th Anniversary All-Time Teams.

He also owned eight playoff and seven All-Star records.

Rising star Lau Tsz-kin will attempt the Sky Hook, guided by Abdul-Jabbar, today.

Besides today's demonstration, Abdul-Jabbar will visit the adidas Originals shop in Causeway Bay's Sogo department store tomorrow at noon.
