The 100 envoys will be divided into two groups. One group will visit Cambodia in July, while the rest will go to Shaanxi in August to experience what life is

like for their deprived counterparts and to promote Unicef's mission.

'We will make good use of the trip to get a better understanding of p0verty and to build a network and communicate with the poor. We will also organise fun activities for the children and let them know that they have a right to a good education,' Daniel said.

'We will try to learn as much as we can. I'm sure it will be a rewarding trip.'

Comment from Unicef: Norris Lai, education officer of the Hong Kong Committee for Unicef, said Daniel is a mature young man.

'Daniel has been like a big brother in the group. He has proved that he is a capable leader,' Mr Lai said.
