Book: Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah. A heart-warming autobiography of an unwanted daughter living in China in 1941.

Cheap Eat: Genki Sushi in Times Square. Fast and wonderful sushi at a very cheap price. There is a big range of sushi and even a few desserts.

Book: Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett. A hilarious book in which a young boy explores a land accompanied by vampires and dwarves.
