New tablet

The ThinkPad X41 Tablet is the first new Think-branded product from Lenovo since it acquired IBM's personal computing division. A convertible tablet PC offers mobile professionals the choice of working in two ways - on a tablet with a digital pen, or on a traditional notebook PC. Equipped with a full-sized keyboard, the ThinkPad X41 Tablet provides 170-degree viewing, an optional integrated fingerprint reader for security and convenient wireless connectivity. The tablet offers standard anti-reflective and anti-glare coatings to maximise indoor viewing of data. It also boasts the longest standard battery life of any 12-inch convertible tablet at up to 6.3 hours on select models with the optional eight-cell battery. It comes with Microsoft's Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005. Prices for the ThinkPad X41 Tablet start at $18,488.
