'Kylie Night' for the cancer fight

Flora Wu

Kylie Minogue fans were saddened and disappointed when she was forced to cancel her one-night-only HK concert after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, recent reports say her treatment has been successful so far and that she is expected to fully recover.

Yet there is more good news for those of you who bought tickets to her show: June 23 will be 'Kylie Night'. A group of Minogue's fans have organised an evening dedicated to the sexy pop diva that will benefit the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.

At Loft9, entertainment will include performances from a dancer who can move like Minogue (in other words, who can undulate, undulate, undulate) and a prize for the Best-Dressed Kylie, (in other words, big hair, little outfit). Great door prizes will be offered by Chocolux, The Colour Bar, Essential Spa, Fitness First, Grosvenor Hong Kong, Maples & Calder, Sheppard Brothers Wine Merchants and PURE. All money raised from raffle tickets and 40 per cent of bar receipts will go to the breast cancer foundation.

The party starts at 7pm. Call 6105 2727 for more details.
