Dear Frankie (IIA): Emily Mortimer stars as the mother of a little boy (Jack McElhone) who must keep on the move to escape an abusive partner - and must keep the truth from her son. Not reviewed.

Enduring Love (IIB): Roger Michell directs this adaptation of Ian McEwan's best-selling novel. Daniel Craig and Samantha Morton play a couple who find their perfect world changed forever after a freak accident - and a freaky stranger haunts their lives. MS

General Releases

A Moment to Remember (Korean) (IIA): The story of a perfect couple whose love is put to the test when one of them is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. MS

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (IIB): Martin Freeman (from TV's The Office) plays Arthur Dent, a man whisked from earth as it's about to be destroyed and given the Hitchhiker's Guide to help make sense of his new life. MS

House Of Wax (IIB): The usual bunch of young lovelies (led by Paris Hilton) are caught in a country town that holds a dark secret. Plenty of blood and screams. MS

Kamikaze Girls (Japanese) (IIB): Taken from the girls' comics of Novala Takemoto, it follows the lives of two girls as they fight for their individuality in the backblocks of Japan. MS

Mr and Mrs Smith (IIA): Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pair off as a squabbling couple with a hidden secret - they are both assassins. Fun, for the most part, but all a bit pointless. MS

Sin City (III): Frank Miller's comics brought to life. Mickey Rourke plays a thug Marv who sets out to find the killer of a prostitute, a murder for which he's being framed. Violent but gripping. MS

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (IIA): Enough action to dispel the disappointment of the past two episodes as we watch Anakin Skywalker go over to the dark side. George Lucas has given us a fitting end to the saga. MS

Twisted (IIB): Ashley Judd plays an investigator who finds a string of murder victims have one thing in common - they have all slept with her. Andy Garcia and Samuel L. Jackson also star. MS
