Halina Tam Siu-wan was crowned Miss Hong Kong in 1994.

She then followed in the footsteps of many other beauty queens and entered the entertainment business.

The former air hostess tried to build up a singing career, but was not successful.

She returned to show business in 2001 after her five-year relationship with her boyfriend at the time came to an end.

Apart from TV serials, Tam has starred in more than 10 films including Unplugged Nightmare and Mansion Murder, released last year.
