Book: Pop Princess by Rachel Cohn. An ordinary girl is offered the chance to leave the dead-end town in which she lives to become a pop star.

Cheap Eat: Oliver's Super Sandwiches. A place where you can get a healthy sandwich or yummy baked potatoes with soup.

Movie: Assault on Precinct 13. A gripping action film with well-developed characters. Very realistic and ideal for action movie buffs.

Book: Timeline by Michael Crichton. A wonderfully written book full of drama, suspense, time-travel adventures and quantum mechanics.
