Misleading Track
A new drama series, Misleading Track, kicked off on TVB Jade on June 22.
Hong Kong woman Yan Ting is released from jail in Taiwan after being wrongly convicted of murdering her husband. Upon returning to Hong Kong, she runs into Yuan Man-shan, who looks just like her husband. Ting approaches Shan but is stopped by lawyer Law Lei-ho. Shan turns out to be the newly-wed husband of the daughter of Ho's long-time friend, tycoon Chiang Hok-nin.
Episode 4 (June 27)
Nin plots to bring down the share price of Miu's shipping company for a cheap buyout.
Ping attacks Ho for helping his wife divorce him. Ting is injured as she tries to help and Ho decides to re-hire her.
Ting visits her mother Ha and finds out why Ha could not go to Taiwan to look after her son.
Episode 5 (June 28)
Ting and Mui attend the opening of Ming's garage. Mui's adopted son Chan Wing-yiu is charged with vandalism.
Hoi falls into Nin's trap by refusing to help Miu. Shan feels bitter when he discovers that Nin has used his 'Logistics City' plan without telling him.
Episode 6 (June 29)
Ho is shocked to learn that Ying is not his real daughter.
Shan tells Nin's daughter Yi that her father is the mastermind behind Miu's crisis. Shuet decides to divorce Nin.
Ha accidentally learns from Ting that Ming's garage is in trouble.
Episode 7 (June 30)
Kuen leaves home after arguing with Ming. She accidentally falls into the sea but is rescued by Ting. Ho wins the case for Ming so Ming can continue to run his garage.
Ting discovers that both Chi and Ying have hereditary allergies.
Shan points out that government developments might affect the Logistics City plan. Shuet gives him the project. Shan goes to see Yi and is shocked to hear Yi and another woman address him as 'husband'.
Episode 8 (July 1)
Shan tells Han - his wife who has just come back from the United States - that Ting has returned to Hong Kong after serving her jail term. Han is shocked.
In fact, Shan is Chung, and Han used to be Ting's good friend but had an affair with Chung. Chung killed his twin brother for money and framed Ting as the murderer. While Ting was in prison, Han took care of her son and went to the US to live with Chung who has assumed Shan's identity.
