CARNIVAL OFFERS FAMILY FUN

The International Arts Carnival - the annual family extravaganza presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department - kicks off on Friday and will run until August 21.

Cirque Eloize from Canada, a troupe formed by skilled acrobats and athletic dancers, will open the programme with Nomade. Combining acrobatics, comedy and music, the show will take audiences on a journey through the world of the gypsies.

Nomade will be performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre's Grand Theatre from Friday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with weekend matinees at 3pm. Tickets at $320, $250, $180 and $120, with half-price concessions for students, can be purchased through Urbtix on 2734 9009.
