SCMP Reporter

The YMCA of Hong Kong will host a rock concert next month to showcase  local indie bands.

The concert will take place at YMCA's club house on Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

It is part of the organisation's Live Band Show series.

It will feature Qiu Hong, Soler, BandBand, Malfunction, Mizz Eva, MC Snake & Partyoke, as well as Pliable.

With the theme of anti-pirating, the concert aims to educate people on the value of respecting copyright.  Legal copies of the bands' albums will be on sale at the venue.

The show kicks off at 7.45pm. Tickets at $60 (for adults) and $40 (for full-time students) are available from YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui, PANIC in Prince Edward, Zoo Records in Mongkok and Cat Store in Causeway Bay. Call 2268 7714 for enquiries.
