Style secrets of the hip and fashionable

Senior marketing manager for Riche Monde

Wardrobe staple? Jeans. I have more than 20 pairs. I also have lots of tank tops and camisoles. I wear them with the jeans, or with a dressy skirt, and add accessories.

Fashion no-no's?

I avoid black tights. I can't bear to see women wearing open-toed sandals with stockings.

Handbag pick for this season? I don't follow seasonal collections because what's more important to me is the bag's design. I like the Balenciaga biker bags because they're roomy.

Favourite shoe designer?

Sergio Rossi. I also like shoes by Christian Dior, Gucci, Christian Louboutin and Louis Vuitton.

Must-have accessory?

Jewellery, especially earrings.

Most cherished fashion item?

A simple, sleeveless cashmere top in cream from Christian Dior. It goes with everything whether I'm dressing up or down.

Style icon?

Kate Moss. Even in jeans she looks a million bucks. In my opinion style icons are women who have the confidence and intelligence to be defined by their own creative, individual style.

Who'd design your Oscars dress?

Tom Ford. I'd have a dress made in a dusty pink colour. It would be long, without a train.

Most expensive fashion item?

My gold Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch.

Your fashion style?

Unique, eclectic and occasionally dramatic. I mismatch my clothes and styles because I don't like the usual, predictable combination.

Boho or ladylike?

Boho. It's being free-spirited and steering away from convention.

Flats or stilettos?

High-end or high street?

Both. I like to mix them up.

Fashion disaster?

I was wearing a long Chanel dress, and someone stepped on the train and it tore.
