enough to fit into any pocket. The K600 features a 1.3 megapixel integrated camera with 4X digital zoom and a 256,000-colour TFT display. Other features include MP3 and media player, FM radio and Bluetooth. (Price: $3,080)

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8: This model is very similar to the other Lumix FX series of compact digital cameras. The FX8 gives you 5 megapixel imaging, a 3X optical zoom lens from Leica, and a large 2.5-inch colour TFT display. The FX8 also features Mega O.I.S (optical image stabiliser) technology, which helps to minimise the blurring of images when you shoot in low lighting conditions. Panasonic claims that the FX8 offers twice the battery life of its previous models. (Price: $3,390)
