A poster design exhibition is being staged at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to showcase the creative work of first-year higher diploma students.

With the theme 'Maiden Flight', the exhibition marks the debut of the school's multimedia design and technology freshmen.

The exhibition features more than 20 posters based on the products of three commercial brands and a non-profit organisation.

An integrated design process was adopted by the students, allowing them to differentiate communication strategies through literal thinking and their personal values towards culture and society.

The exhibition runs until August 7 at PolyU's School of Design Gallery, which is located at Core A of the Hunghom campus. Opening hours are 10am to 8pm.
