Mr van Eijken recently moved to Hong Kong from the one-Michelin-star Il Cortile restaurant in Paris, where he spent the past five years. Previously, he was sous chef at the two-Michelin-star La Rive restaurant at the Amstel InterContinental Hotel in Amsterdam. After graduation, he continued his training as head chef at an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant in Paris and later refined his skills at various restaurants in the Netherlands.

Royal Phuket Marina
Ms Skelton has been appointed marketing manager of the Royal Phuket Marina which is scheduled to open in December this year.
She will oversee brand management and special events for the project, which features 400 luxury homes, 350 boat berths and 16,000 square metres of shopping, dining and entertainment facilities. The US$150 million project is the Thai island's first 'high-end' residential marina.

Mr Andre, formerly executive chef of SPOON by Alain Ducasse, moved to Hong Kong in 2003. He has worked with Mr Ducasse, the world's most awarded chef, for more than 15 years and has opened several of his restaurants. As executive chef of the InterContinental Hong Kong, he will oversee all the hotel's five internationally acclaimed restaurants, which include SPOON, Yu, Yan Toh Heen, the Steak House Wine Bar & Grill and Harbourside.

As executive chef of Elite Concepts, Mr Gabet will command 240 chefs and oversee a variety of cuisines served in the group's 12 outlets, featuring Shanghainese, French, Italian, Japanese, Thai and Balinese fare. The chef, trained at the Hotel School of La Rochelle in France, has in the past two decades supervised fine dining at some of the best restaurants in Paris, Jakarta, Shanghai, Tokyo and Bangkok.
