DHL revenue higher in half

Sustained increases in the global price of oil had little impact on market demand for DHL's express or logistics services in the first half, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, where revenue grew a comparative 19 per cent.

DHL's express and logistics units combined to post interim sales of Euro1.9 billion ($18.17 billion), buoyed by new contracts in the oil and office equipment sectors and a trend towards faster cycles in the fashion industry.
