So much for the long-time PR theory that goes 'any publicity is good publicity'. Lan Kwai Fong late-night hangout Volar's chiefs have decided to institute a no-photography policy in the club to 'ensure that our members and VIP's continue to enjoy their privacy'.

Apparently, some of the local paparazzi have been too eager to snap photos of local celebs as they try to party in private.

How outrageous. If you can't snog and go wild discreetly in rowdy, raucous Lan Kwai Fong, then where can any self-respecting VIP go?

In addition, Volar's management is retaining the right to confiscate and erase any photographs taken on club premises.

Well, I guess we won't be shooting our mobile film in there.
