PHOTO EXHIBITION

Twenty-five young people aged 15 to 23 recently took part in a series of workshops conducted by veteran photographer Cheung Chi-wai.

During the workshops, the students captured various aspects of performing arts through photography.

They are showcasing their pictures from tomorrow until August 23 from 9am to 11pm, and on August 24 from 9am to 5pm, at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Admission is free.

UK BAND TO ROCK HK

British band The Tears will rock the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday with their captivating music.

The Tears are led by former Suede frontman Brett Anderson and guitarist Bernard Butler, and also include Nathan Fisher, Makoto Sakamoto and Will Foster.

Butler and Anderson are regarded as one of the best song-writing duos in the music industry. Since Butler left Suede in 1994, fans have been waiting for the reunion.

The Tears recently released their debut album, Here Come The Tears, which was well-received in Britain and Hong Kong.

The concert starts at 8pm.
