Hewlett-Packard has released its smallest and lightest portable computer to date, the Compaq Presario B1800 notebook. It measures 299.72 x 228.6 x 25.4mm and weighs 1.8kg, which is compact enough to slip inside your hand luggage or on top of an airline tabletop, with room to spare for your drink. It is built with Intel's Centrino Mobile technology, which includes a 1.86-gigahertz Pentium M 750 processor, Intel 915GM chipset and Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 802.11b/g system. It also comes with an Intel Extreme Graphics Media Accelerator chip, 512 megabytes of memory, an 80-gigabyte hard disk drive, DVD Super-Multi Drive, four-in-one digital memory card reader, Bluetooth connectivity and 12-inch-wide screen display.
