Blue. I like a lot of boybands, but Blue are my favourite, as their songs and lyrics are touching, inspiring and good to listen to. They make good songs that are slow and soft and have some fast tunes, too.

Tina Yip, 14

Kelly Clarkson, the winner of the first season of American Idol. In my opinion, she's the top contestant out of all four seasons of the programme. Her vocal range is amazingly vast. She may not be beautiful, but she miraculously becomes irresistible as soon as she starts singing.

Roshini Chotrani, 14

Usher, because he expresses his feelings in his songs, such as Burn and U Got It Bad. His song My Boo is a favourite. Usher's dance moves are amazing - just like Michael Jackson's. He is a great singer with a wide vocal range.

Amily Lam, 16

Pop-punk rock band Simple Plan. Their amazing songs make my soul shiver with excitement. They put a lot of effort and enthusiasm into their music. Their vocals, guitars, drums, and everything else sound gorgeous. This is a fantastic band.

Jisoo Kim, 17

It has to be the Manic Street Preachers. Their music lacks the synthetic sound that's so common these days. Hence, they're refreshing to listen to. I'd highly recommend their music to anyone who has a similar distaste towards music genres that end with a 'p', like I do.

Joses Chan, 17

My favourite singer is Avril Lavigne. Her first album was released when she was just 18 years old. Avril is not only a singer but also a songwriter. She's cool, and she rocks!

Jonathan Chun, 14

Blink182! They're well known for their funny stunts and catchy tunes. Blink 182 is the only band that can pull off a great performance with their birthday suits and still have a strong fan following.
