The Chung Ying Theatre will present a Cantonese version of the classic musical Les Miserables.

The Cantonese production is directed by Peter Jordan, a senior drama lecturer at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

The musical will run from Friday until September 3 at 7.30pm - with matinees at 2.30pm on Sunday, September 3 and 4 - at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre's Studio Theatre.

Tickets from $100 to $160, with half-price concessions for students, are available from

Urbtix outlets.
