According to the Sino-cinema website monkeypeaches.com, it seems Tony Leung Chiu-wai is about to make his Hollywood debut.
The Hong Kong star has long resisted the trend to go to the United States, even after winning international acclaim for his acting. But it is reported he will soon play a police inspector in an untitled Hollywood project written by crime novelist Lawrence Block.
At present, Leung is also attached to a biopic about Bruce Lee's trainer, master Ye Wen, to be directed by Wong Kar-wai.
