A group of secondary students who have completed a series of workshops will showcase their video work at the Youth in Love with Video Screening.

Under the instruction of veteran filmmakers, the students learned the basics of video making and editing.

The screening will take place on Sunday at 2pm and 4.30pm at the Hong Kong Space Museum lecture hall. Free admission. Tickets are available now at the enquiry counter of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 2572 7202.


Award-winning film The Motorcycle Diaries will be screened at 7.30pm on Friday at Agnes b. Cinema at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.

The film is based on the books The Motorcycle Diaries written by Cuban-Argentinean legend Ernesto Guevara and With Che Through Latin America by Alberto Granado.

Directed by Brazilian director Walter Salles, the film depicts the life-changing journey that Guevara and Granado took across South America in 1952.

Guevara's experiences sowed his socialist beliefs and spurred his activism which led him to become an important figure in Cuban history.
