Looking for better times

Members of the Commission on Poverty tour a housing estate in Tin Shui Wai North to hear demands for improvements to public services. During an hour-long meeting with community representatives, commission secretary Cherry Tse Ling Kit-ching warned that limited resources governed priorities on what should be tackled. 'While Tin Shui Wai may face bigger problems than other districts, we need to tackle the issues in a balanced way and the government must maintain fairness across the territory.'
