1993: Graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Hong Kong Baptist University

1995: Studied for a master's degree in chemistry at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

1999: Joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club as a chemist

2005: Obtained a master's degree in biopharmaceuticals from the University of New South Wales, Australia

2005: Promoted to Racing Chemist (Head of Development Section)

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Racing Laboratory is the only place in Hong Kong that provides testing for racehorses. The lab has 42 staff, including 10 chemists (1 chief racing chemist, 4 racing chemists and 5 chemists).
