With interest in rugby on the rise, the sport's oversized, striped jersey has been given a fashion makeover. Fashion houses such as Burberry and Dsquared have added the shirts to their collections and the latest to join the bandwagon is Brooks Brothers. Their autumn collection is inspired by Ivy League fraternities and Oxford alumni. Traditional shirts and trousers make an appearance alongside slimmed down and sexed up versions of the rugby shirt ($520). The jerseys are available in 100-per cent cotton and come with vintage-inspired detailing, such as contrast collars and plackets. Available at Brooks Brothers, Seibu, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2971 3388.
