Traditional sailing programmes rarely capture the imagination of anyone other than hard-core sailing enthusiasts. But The Spirit of Yachting series uses the events as a dynamic background to the stories that unfold behind the scenes.

Building on the success of last year's series, The Spirit of Yachting will again use a thematic approach to each episode. The result - who comes first, second and third - will be important, but won't be the key to the programmes.
