Local cultural icon and Commercial Radio DJ Jan Lamb has released 30'mething - a 12-track album containing the hippest beats in hip-hop, modern jazz and R&B.

Backed by rapper Hanjin Chen, versatile musician Jun Kung, Swing's Jerald Chan and Eric Kwok, and hip-hop group FAMA, the 38-year-old expresses his views on the materialistic values of the youth generation, as well as the dilemmas that men in their 30s face.

Besides chart toppers 30mething and Boy Band, the album's other potential hits include New Romance (featuring resurrected pop diva Prudence Liu), Billionaire Peter Pan, Let's Do It, and Let Go.

The CD is accompanied by a DVD featuring music videos of selected tracks and footage from a three-on-three 'Lamdog Cup' soccer tournament featuring fellow artists and professional players.

Lamb, whose love of football is well-known, has created more than a CD with 30'mething - it is a personal project.
