Guests clink glasses to ring out the Year of France in China at an exhibition featuring 50 of 365 award-winning photographs of the Eiffel Tower taken by Jean-Paul Lubliner that ends the series of cross-cultural events.

Lubliner, whose work is on display at the New World Plaza and Avenue of the Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, captured the Parisian landmark from a different angle every day for a year for his project in 1999.

More than 300 France-related events were held in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Macau and Hong Kong between October 2004 and this month. About 40 of the events were staged in Hong Kong with the support of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and local institutions.
