New exhibitors add extra flair

MORE THAN 50 new exhibitors - from Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan - will be showing their wares at APLF Fashion Access for the first time this year. More than 400 exhibitors will take part in the fair.

Fashion shows will be held daily during APLF Fashion Access, featuring exhibitors Baggallini, The Art Company, Ferimar Import Export, Philippe Tarsier and many more.

The Hong Kong Shoes & Bags Designers' Association will also host shows focusing on new forces in the local design industry.

International pavilions will showcase the wares of Argentina, China, France, Japan, the Philippines, Spain and Taiwan.

Seminars will be held to discuss trends in materials and colours, back-office software and digital handbag design. Speakers will include Tod Schulman of Pantone Asia, Mary Chan Yan-yan from Peclers Paris, Kathy Tsui from Ultra Active Technology, Martin Lehec from Carlin International and Stephen Stanish from Amethyst Handbag Library.

A preview of trends for the coming season in the Fashion Trends Lounge will showcase the latest international designers.

High-end collections will also be displayed in the invitation-only Top Style Hall.
