A man is wheeled from a Kwai Chung flat by an ambulance crew (far left) after being arrested when police wearing body armour broke into the flat to end a three-hour standoff yesterday. Police said the 39-year-old man had argued with his wife - who was not injured but taken to hospital for checkups (left) - in the Kwai Shing East Estate shortly before 8am. The woman phoned a friend for help, and the friend dialed 999. The man suffered minor hand injuries during his arrest and was treated at Yan Chai Hospital.
