Hewlett-Packard has served up its latest business desktop computer, the HP Compaq dx7200, to enterprises looking for a good return on their investment without compromising system quality and reliability. Buyer options include pre-configured models or fully customised systems with either Intel's Pentium 4 630, Celeron D or dual-core Pentium D processors. It comes loaded with the Altiris Local Recovery software for data back-up, restoration and recovery. The system helps protect user data and the system image in a hidden, protected partition on the computer's hard drive. This gives users the ability to easily recover data and system settings, helping to reduce the risk of data loss and the number of calls to the help desk. Prices for the HP Compaq dx7200 start at $7,200, excluding monitor, in either slim tower or microtower versions.
