More lockers on the way

YOUR reader who complained of insufficient lockers at Victoria Park (South China Morning Post, November 10) will be pleased to know that 75 more lockers have been ordered and should be ready for use by next January.

The reason seven of the present 60 lockers were out of use was because new $1 coins had been inserted in the locks. They have now been repaired and plans are in hand to modify all locks to accept both the old and new coins.

Meanwhile, notices have been put up asking players not to use the new coins.

We thank your reader for his/her concern in this matter.
