CHRISTIE'S the auctioneers plans to give film buffs a chance to look at a vast array of mementos from Hollywood's Golden Age before the items are auctioned off in New York on December 18.


Among the treasures to be displayed on December 3 at a women's clothes shop in Hollywood is a miniature Oscar presented in 1939 to Judy Garland for the Wizard of Oz, which is expected to fetch upwards of US$70,000 (HK$541,169).


A bathing suit worn by Marilyn Monroe in a 1958 Life magazine pictorial will be among the costumes featured.
