Gigi Leung Wing-kei can now throw away those thick glasses and contact lenses.

The singer-actor underwent laser eye surgery in London this week. She's in the city to take part in a month-long singing and dancing course.

Leung, 29, said she has wanted to have the surgery for some time, but couldn't because it meant she couldn't wear makeup for more than a week. She said being a student in a foreign country seemed like the time to have it done.
