Inspired by their daily experiences, primary school students have created products that can help improve people's lives.
Their inventions will be featured in a new RTHK television programme, Technofrontier (ATV Home, Wednesdays, 7pm).
At last week's launch, the students displayed their projects, including a multipurpose backpack, a mini baby cart that can climb stairs and a 'massage jacket'.
The products were created by the children with limited help from teachers.
The jacket's two massaging devices came from a robot designed by Christopher Chu Cheuk-yin, a Primary Six pupil at St Bonaventure Catholic Primary School.
'They're actually the legs of my robot. I took them out, added Chinese chess pieces and turned them into massaging devices,' said Christopher, who was assisted by his classmate Calvin Hong Wai-tung.
