Burke moves to Delta

HONG Kong aviation industry guru William Burke has quit his managing director's post at Avmark Asia to become Pacific region managing director for Delta Airlines.


Mr Burke has been charged with masterminding the US carrier's sales and marketing activities in the Pacific region.


Delta has taken many steps over the past several months to add new strategies and management processes to its operations worldwide as part of its commitment to return to sustained profitability. The appointment of Mr Burke is part of these plans.
