CLOWNING AROUND ITALIAN STYLE

Circus Ronaldo from Italy will present La Cucina dell' Arte, a hilarious family show combining cooking and clowning.

Against the background of traditional accordion music and a 10th century kitchen barrow filled with food, Chef Danny and waiter David juggle with pizzas and plates. They will also perform acrobatic stunts with cooking ingredients, pots and pans.

The performance will be staged from today to March 12 at 7.45pm at the Studio Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Student tickets cost $80, $110 and $125 ($160, $220 and $250 for adults) and are available from Urbtix on 2734 9009.

HONG KONG FLOWER SHOW

The Hong Kong Flower Show will take place from today to March 12 from 9am to 9pm daily at Victoria Park.

This year's theme flower is the Dianthus, which originates mainly in Europe and Asia.

Besides the different varieties of Dianthus, the show also features floral art displays presented by more than 180 groups from Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas.

Fringe activities such as music and dance performances, green talks, floral art demonstrations and fun games will also be organised during the show period.

Student tickets costing $7 ($14 for adults) are available at the entrance to the showground at Victoria Park throughout the show period. For more information call 2697 8030.
