draft corporate tax law expected by August

The State Council will submit the draft corporate tax law to the NPC Standing Committee for review in August, Vice-Minister of Finance Luo Jiwei said. Mr Luo said the unification of tax rates paid by foreign and domestic companies - as stated in the new legislation - did not mean foreign businesses would pay more tax on the mainland.
