Jetpods a good solution to traffic congestion

The Jetpod - a revolutionary air taxi - is aimed at reducing the number of vehicles on the road and easing traffic congestion.

But I was shocked by the aircraft's cost. With each Jetpod costing more than $14 million, an average citizen would not be able to afford the fare.

Moreover, since the aircraft is unique, repairs, such as replacing an engine or other vital parts, could be costly. This would put a heavy burden on the company.

I believe it will take a few years before the Jetpod becomes a popular mode of transport. But I really want to own one. I hope my dream will come true.

Thanks for your letter, Christopher. I, too, was excited to read about the plans for Jetpod. I hope that you saw the Big Issue on Tuesday that we did on the subject.

As you say, Jetpods will most likely be too expensive for the average person, but they will still have an impact on our lives.

Every Jetpod in the sky will mean fewer cars on the road - thus helping to ease traffic problems.

For a taste of what it would be like to fly in a Jetpod, check out the flight simulator on this website:
