Yahoo HK recently established Knowledge +, which lets people share knowledge.

In just a few days, more than 7,000 entries had been submitted. I was surprised to see how IT could play a role in learning.

I sometimes prefer using an online dictionary to a thick dictionary. It's not only more convenient, it also suggests helpful references.

The internet provides the most up-to-date information.

I believe that computers will replace traditional teaching tools in future. I encourage students to try e-learning because it makes learning effective and efficient.

Thanks for your letter, Tim. It is exciting how technology is transforming - and the best part of it is a greater access to information. I use the search engine google every day. In fact, google is such an important part of our lives that it's even been made a verb - to google.

My favourite site for searching information is Wikipedia ( It is an incredible online encyclopaedia that explains even the most recent trends and events.

Young Post is using technology to help you learn, too! Check out our listening exercise (Mondays, P8) - listen to clips on the YP site and then answer the questions in your YP.
