Game of sand This game is great fun. I'm not sure whether I understand it but that is irrelevant. You set up walls and other things to divert a few streams of falling sand. Easier to understand if you see. http://chir.ag/stuff/sand
Moving Red Square Another simple but fun game (fun for some, a real pain for others). Use your mouse to move a red square inside a box and four 'blocks' begin to move about. You must prevent the red square from touching anything. If you can do this for 18 seconds, you're good. http://members.iinet.net.au/~pontipak/redsquare.html
Video delight The site, Veoh.com, is like YouTube. Check out the lovely little Monty Python sketch done in Lego at www.veoh.com/videoDetails.html?v=e10608
Documents of liberty The US government has put up some high-definition images of the Declaration of Independence. Download them for free. http://www.archives.gov/national-archives-experience/charters/charters.html

More from history

To trace the roots of it all, here is the Magna Carta from the British Library. http://www.bl.uk/treasures/magnacarta/magna_main.html
