A reception full of French pomp and splendour was held aboard the surveillance frigate Prairial last night by Commander Alexis Latty to celebrate the relationship between France and Hong Kong. The Prairial is part of the French Pacific Fleet.

The ship's visit to Hong Kong follows last year's 'Year of France in China'. Tomorrow, the ship will be open to the public at its berth at Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, from 9am until 11am and then again from 2pm until 5pm, but only to a maximum of 300 people.
