While we all love giving and receiving Easter eggs, and we know that eggs symbolise new life, there is more to eggs than meets the eye.

To celebrate Easter and to demonstrate the scientific phenomenon of the egg, the Hong Kong Science Museum has organisied an Easter egg show on April 19 and 21.

Both demonstrations will take place in the lecture hall, and will start at 2.30pm and finish at 2.50pm.

Participation is free and volunteers will be invited to take part in egg-related experiments.

Participants will learn about the chemistry of eggs, along with a brief intro- duction to the history of the egg.

The Easter egg show is part of the Science Fest, one of the Science Museum's many 15th anniversary programmes. Visit http://hk.science.museum/ 15anniv/eng/sciencefest.html for more details.
